Today is "raya"... It has been informed by "penyimpan mohor Raja-raja" last night that Raya is confirmed on 30th August 2011 (Tuesday). Last night, since there was no more "solat terawikh"... After Isya', me and Syawal went to pekan Lubuk Cina and bought the LED lights (lampu kelip-kelap) to be installed around Atuk's house at Kg. Teluk Berembang. It tooks us nearly two hours to install it because we need to send back the initial unit that we bought because half of the 100 units of LED lights were not functioned. Alhamdulillah, around 11.15pm, we finally manage to finish it and Atuk's house was very very happening now, full of colours and twinkle winkle... Hehhee...
I slept around 3pm last night because of having chat with my cousins while waiting for the others to come. In the morning, I woke up at 6.00am, prayed Subuh and prepared myself to go to the mosque earlier. I went to the mosque nearby Atuk's house. Supposedly I should walk there, however, because Atuk and Wan were going together with me so we went by car. Sharp at 8.30am, the Imam started the "Solat Aidilfitri"... After that, I were listening to his khutbah entitled "Makna kemerdekaan Aidilfitri"... In his khutbah, he reminded all of the jemaah that the jihad nowadays is not fighting the kuffar. That is not the priority. The priority is the jihad against "syaitan" and "nafsu"... As a Muslim, most of us still fail to fights the whispers of Syaitan and fail to control our desires... I do hope Ramadhan can change me to become the pious servant of Allah, following all of his instructions and commands and leaving all of the bad things prohibited by Him... I hope with the coming of Syawal, I am going to be a good person, a good son, a good husband, a good father, a good friend of everyone, a good employee and a good of apa2 jelah... Ameen...
After "solat Aidilfitri", I went back to Atuk's house, lead the tahlil for those family members who had passed away... May Allah puts them amongst His pious servants... Then, we have what should I called this... Hmm... I think it should be called as a "Greetings session" whereby everybody wish Selamat Hari Raya, shake hands, hug each others and ask for forgiveness... One of the precious moment was when my wife came and sat in front of me and said to me : " Abang, maafkan segala dosa-dosa Ayang... Ayang banyak buat abang sakit hati... Ayang banyak buat salah kat Abang... Halalkan makan minum Ayang" with tears in her eyes... I couldn't escape from letting my tears down... I hug her hardly and said gently that : "Abang pun sama jugak... Maafkan dosa-dosa Abang... Abang bukan suami yang baik buat Ayang, tapi Abang akan berusaha menjadi yang terbaik... Ampunkan dosa Abang atas kekurangan Abang... Abang sayang Ayang..."
After that, we did have a photography session... As all of you can see from the pics below... I think this year Hari Raya is one the best Hari Raya for me... It has been celebrated simple and vibrant... I love this family... Cannot wait to celebrate Hari Raya with Mama, Abah and adik-adik tomorrow... I miss them so much... Cannot wait to lay down on Mama's lap while seeking her forgiveness and pardons... Cannot wait to kiss Abah's hand and thanks him for everything he has done to raise me to become a good man... Cannot wait to hug all of my brothers and sisters because I do miss them so much this Aidilfitri... Hope to do it tomorrow...
* Cuma yang spoil sket, tetiba ada jerawat kat hidung... Rosak gambor... Huhuhu... Besar tue...
